In the Articles of Confederation Pavilion, you'll experience the entire Pre-Constitution Timeline, from the first Continental Congress through the Revolutionary War and the Treaty of Period Period, right up until the start of the Constitutional Convention.

Through interactive exhibits, you'll discover how the Articles of Confederation worked, how members of the unicameral Congress were chosen, what kind of powers the Presidents Before Washington had, which cities served as capitals before Washington, D.C. and how one of them, Annapolis, served as the bridge between the Revolution and the Constitution during the Treaty of Paris Period.  You'll also be able to read replica documents, examine colonial currency, and talk to key figures in the founding of the original United States.
